AUTOMATIC STRETCHING DEVICE FOR CONVEYOR

PURPOSE:To adjust tension and deviation to a proper value, by a method wherein a device is constituted such that the end of a shaft is movable through a load cell, and by means of the detecting signals of a limit switch and a load cell, located in the vicinity of a conveyor conveying pulling device, and the moving distance of the load cell, both ends of a driven shaft are moved. CONSTITUTION:A generating tension of a belt 1 is exerted on a contact face between a load cell 12 and a screw 8A, and a support force is detected by the load cell 12. Meanwhile, when the running position of the belt 1 deviates from a set locus scope, a limit switch 17 is actuated to transmit it. By means of the support force of the load cell 12 and through operation of the limit switch 17, an ON and OFF signal from a motor 16 is generated. When the support force is beyond the scope of a set value, the motor 16 is brought to an ON-state, and the numbers of revolutions on both sides are balanced with each other by means of a pulse signal from a pulse transmitter 13. This constitution enables deviation and tension of the belt to be automatically adjusted to a set value.
