RETRIEVING AND RECORDING SYSTEM OF STORED INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for confirmation, to reduce consumption of recording media and to improve its economic efficiency by reducing retrieved and read out picture information and recording it in the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A CPU1 retrieves original file information registered in an original file control table 23, reads out the original file information and stores in a file register 24. When storing of the original file information is completed, the CPU1 generates the name of document and the date of registration out of the information from a character generator 22, and prints them on recording paper by a printer 4. Then, it reads out encoded information according to the forefront memory address of the document from a picture memory 5, decodes it line by line, and stores once in a restoring memory 25. Then, it reads out this picture information, and after making reduction of the picture information, stores in a printing buffer 26, and outputs to the printer 4 and stores in a recording paper.
