PRODUCTION OF FEMALE DIE

PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy in mating of a female die with a male die by pressing a plastic material via a flexible sheet by the male die thereby forming a work molding part. CONSTITUTION:The plastic material P prepd. by kneading sinterable metallic powder and synthetic resin binder is adhered to a metallic blank material 30 for the female die. Such plastic material P is pressed by the male die 2 via the flexible sheet-shaped material 6 having the same thickness as the work to be molded and provided with three projecting parts 6a on the outside surface side thereof to form a work molding part 2a; at the same time a recess 7 for relief is formed to the part 2a. The synthetic resin binder in the material P is then thermally decomposed and the metallic powder is sintered to form a metallic sintered layer S, thereby forming the female die.
