BEARING FOR ROTOR

PURPOSE:To assure a bearing capable of preventing a rotary shaft from being deformed and a scuffing accident from being produced when the rotary shaft makes contact with a static pressure bearing by providing a first portion having a lubricating pressure fluid supply hole and surrounding the rotary shaft and a second portion rotatably mounted on the inside of the first portion. CONSTITUTION:The captioned bearing most suitable for a rotary apparatus such as a mechanical sodium pump in a high-speed furnance, etc., has roller bearings 21a-21c assembled inside a bearing base 13 as a first portion including a pressure supply hole 19. Thereupon, a spacer 20 provided with a pressure supply hole 19a is inserted into the base 13 from the upper side until the spacer strikes the upper part of the roller bearing 21b and thereby the bearing 21b is prevented from displacing vertically and the bearing 21a is pushed in from the upper part until the bearing strikes the spacer 20. These roller bearings 21a-21c interpose many balls 23 between an inner race (second portion) 25 and an outer race 24, and the inner race 25 is displaced in a prescribed interval away from the rotary shaft 11.
