Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce the temperature fluctuation of a matter to be air-conditioned during the stop of a compressor by a method wherein the operating time of the compressor is counted so as to estimate the air-conditioning load in order to contrive the timing for restarting the compressor. CONSTITUTION:A temperature comparing means A detects the temperature of the matter to be air-conditioned and compares the detected temperature with the set temperature so as to issue a signal to operate a compressor 4, in case that the temperature of the matter to be air-conditioned is higher when the cooling operation is intended or in case that said temperature is lower when the heating operation is intended. In addition, a time counting means E counts the time from the start to the stop of the compressor and issues the signal corresponding to operating time of the compressor. Further, a starting means C issues the signal to operate the compressor after the shorter period of time when the operating time of the compressor is longer as corresponding to the signal of the means E since the stop of the compressor or after adequately longer period of time of the compressor is shorter as corresponding to the signal of the means E since the stop of the compressor. After adequate period of time, the means C stops said signal. The energizing of the compressor is controlled by ORing the outputs of the means C and A, resulting in reducing the temperature fluctuation of the matter to be air-conditioned during the stop of the compressor.
