Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain UO2 interposing ADU (ammonium diuranate) powder having uniform particle size by allowing gaseous UF6 to react with drops of aq. NH3, collecting the reaction product by freezing, and reducing generated ADU by the sublimation of the frozen product with H2. CONSTITUTION:Aq. NH3 is atomized to form liquid drops, which are allowed to react with gaseous UF6, and the liquid drops are collected by freezing. Unreacted gaseous UF6 is recovered by an adsorber. Frozen solid is sublimed as volatile ammonium fluoride and water, and nonvolatile ADU remains as solid. Volatilized gases are collected separately by cooling. After recovering ADU powder, it is transformed to UO2 by reducing with gaseous H2. UO2 is subjected to slagging press treatment to obtain sintered body.
