Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prepare the titled nutrient agent suitable as an additive of artificial milk, special milk for the remedy of hypocupremia nutrient agent for transintestinal administration, etc., by adding a copper salt to an aqueous solution of whey protein, and hydrolyzing the resultant adduct of whey protein and copper with a proteinase. CONSTITUTION:A 5-20% aqueous solution of concentrated whey protein (having a protein content of 35-80wt%) is added with an aqueous solution of a copper salt (e.g. cupric sulfate) containing 10-100mg of copper per 1 gram of the protein, and the obtained aqueous mixture is stirred keeping its pH at preferably 8-9 with sodium hydroxide, etc. to bond the whey protein with copper. The reaction mixture is subjected to the ultrafiltration or dialysis to remove the unreacted salts and ions, and then the filtrate, etc. is pulverized optionally after drying. A copper-enriching agent bonded with peptide can be obtained by this process.
