Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve the operation of a brake by instaling a differential-pressure means between a reaction-force chamber and a pressurizing chamber for operating a power piston and keeping the hydraulic pressure of the reaction- force chamber smaller than that in the pressurizing chamber. CONSTITUTION:When an input piston 216 is moved leftward by stepping a brake pedal, the annular groove 310 of the input piston 216 communicates to the left contiguous annular groove 304. Therefore, the hydraulic pressure supplied from an inlet 302 is transmitted to a pressurizing chamber 208. At the same time, a valve C is closed, and the pressure of the pressurizing chamber 208 is increased. Since the left reaction-force chamber 217 communicates to a drain chamber 209 in this stage and keeps the atmospheric pressure, a reaction force is not applied onto the input piston 216. Therefore, the input piston 216 can be applied with a large stepping force, and is sharply moved leftward, and a large operation pressure for a booster can be obtained. |
