Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve affinity of barrier and hydrophilic reagent layers without damaging the barrier layer characteristic, by keeping hydrophilic reagent and barrier layers under influence of tackiness afforded by a tocky intermediate layer located between them. CONSTITUTION:The hydrophilic first reagent layer produces a gaseous decomposition product in reaction with analyte in a liquid specimen and the second reagent layer causes a detectable change in reaction with a decomposition product or its final product. Further, the barrier layer allows the gaseous decomposition product to penetrate by intervening between first and second reagent layers and simultaneously, prevents penetration of liquid water, detection inhibitors. The first agent layer, and inhibitor layer are placed subjected under tackiness afforded by the tacky intermedium layer located between them.
