Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To estimate the abrasion loss of the refractory and heat-insulating lining material economically by obtaining the radiation heating value, heat conductivity, and internal surface temperature of the lining material previously, and substituting them and the external surface temperature in a specific relational equation and calculating the thickness. CONSTITUTION:Respective designed values of the diffusion heating value Q, heat conductivity lambda1, internal surface temperature t1, etc., of KOHKASEKI 6 (refractory stone produced in Izu Japan) are obtained previously. Then, the external surface temperature t2 of KOHKASEKI 6 is measured by an infrared detector from outside a tower wall 7. The thickness l1 of KOHKASEKI 6 is derived from those respective values Q, lambda1, t1, and t2. Namely, the equation holds for those values, so the thickness l1 is easily obtained. For the purpose, the thickness l1 is subtracted from the thickness of KOHKASEKI 6 to estimate the abrasion loss.
