Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To detach easily and surely solidified matter from a die by impregnating a molten metal into fibers under the pressure exerted by the 1st and 2nd plungers, pulling back the 2nd plunger after solidification of the molten metal and pressurizing the molding further by the 1st plunger. CONSTITUTION:Fibers are preliminarily subjected to compression molding and the molding 6 thereof is fitted to a punch 3 and is fitted into a fiber housing part 11 by a double action type plunger 5. The top surface of the punch 3 is brought into tight contact with the sealing part 10 of a die 1. The die 1 is heated to a suitable temp. and the molten metal is poured through an introducing port 8 for the molten metal and is pressurized by the double action type plunger 2 to impregnate the molten metal into the preform 6 and to maintain the pressurization until the molten metal solidifies. The plunger 5 is pulled down after the pressurization and solidification and the solidified matter is pressurized and ejected downward by the plunger 2, by which an ingot is obtd. The slightly remaining metallic part is cut and the fiber reinforced metallic material approximate to the final product is obtd. The final product is then obtd. by machining of the end face and polishing. |
