CHOKE COIL

PURPOSE:To facilitate the positioning of a coil and a core as well as to prevent the breakage of a lead wire terminal by a method wherein the cross-sectional shape of the core part of the center leg is formed in oval shape, and the notched part of the circumferential part is provided at the position in longitudinal direction of the oval shape forming the core part of the center leg. CONSTITUTION:A pot type core 21 is formed in such a manner that the center leg core part 23 having oval-shaped cross-sectional form is protruded from a bottom face 22, circumferential parts 24 and 24 are formed surrounding the center leg core part 23, and the core 21 is constructed in such a manner that the notched parts 25 and 25 of the circumferential parts 24 and 24 are provided at the two positions in the longitudinal direction 26 of the oval shape which constitutes the cross-section of the center leg core part 23. Two pot-type cores 21 and 21 are used on a choke coil 27, a coil 28 having a polyacetal spool whereon formal-insulated copper wire is wound is fitted to the center leg core part 23 of a pot-type 21, the other pot-type core 21 is opposed, the center leg core part 23 is formed by inserting it into the spool of the coil 28, and lead wire terminals 29 and 29 are led out from the notched part 25.
