CLEANING DEVICE FOR ELECTRON GUN OF CATHODE-RAY TUBE

PURPOSE:To perform cleaning of the captioned electron gun continuously with good efficiency by carrying a holder on which the electron gun is mounted, with an endlessly formed transfer device while changing its posture and removing dust by tapping as well as performing liquid washing. CONSTITUTION:While continuously carrying a rotatable holder 41 by a transfer device 11 made up of an endlessly formed moving chain 24, an electron gun is mounted on the holder 41 at the mounting-dismounting part 12 followed by changing its posture in horizontal attitude at the first posture control part 13 in order to perform dust removal by tapping the electron gun with a tapping device 14. Further, the holder 41 changes its posture downward in vertical attitude at the second posture control part 15 for performing liquid washing of the electron gun with a liquid washing device 16 followed by changing the posture of the holder 41 in horizontal attitutde at the third posture control part 17 while dismounting the electron gun at the mounting-dismounting part 12 for mounting a new electron gun. Accordingly, cleaning of the eletron gun is continuously performed thus enabling the productive efficiency to be improved.
