Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of rubble leveling operations by a method in which an endless chain is provided to the lower part of the rear wall of a rubble chute cylinder hung down from the hull in a vertically movable manner, and a blade to level off the rubble is provided. CONSTITUTION:The endless chain 13 of a rubble ship 5 is moved toward the direction of arrow and while slowly advancing the chain 13, rubble 1 is charged to a level slightly higher than a datum level onto the seabed through a chute 9. When a blade 12 is moved, the rubble 1 is cut off by the blade 12 to level off it to the height of the datum level. The rubble 1 so cut off is carried to below the region by the blade 12 to become the base for the next leveling operation.
