DATA INPUT CONTROLLER FOR CRT DISPLAY

PURPOSE:To simplify an input operation for instructions similar to each other by transferring the contents of a buffer when a recall key is produced from a key input means to a video memory and copying the input data stored in the video memory to the buffer when a key input operation is through. CONSTITUTION:A recall means 9 and an end means 10 are connected to an identification means 7 connected to a key input means 1. The input signal given from the means 1 is identified by the means 7. If said input signal is set with a recall key, a signal is sent to the means 9. Then a cursor is set at a prescribed position, and a character string in a buffer 8 is copied to a video memory 4. When an input end key is pushed by the means 1, a signal identified by the means 7 and sent to the means 10. Then the contents of the memory 4 are copied to the buffer 8. Furthermore, the recall key of the means 1 is pushed to shift the cursor to a desired area. Thus an instruction of a prescribed position can be rewritten.
