TAPE CASSETTE

PURPOSE:To rotate smoothly a reel hub, and to secure a good tape running property by making the reel hub contact by pressing to the upper and the lower inside surfaces of a case only through a sheet. CONSTITUTION:When recording and reproducing, a reel hub 4a rotates, circular sheets 10a, 10b rotate as one body together with the hub 4a, a reel hub 4b also rotates without contacting to set cases 2a, 2b and circular sheets 10c, 10d rotate as one body together with the hub 4b. Tape winding bodies 6a, 6b are formed on the peripheral surface of the hubs 4a, 4b, respectively, and also both end sides are formed between the sheet 10a and 10b, and between 10c and 10d, respectively. The sheets 10a-10d contact to both the end sides of the winding bodies 6a, 6b but rotate as one body, therefore, rotate in a state that no slide is generated, between the side end face of the winding bodies 6a, 6b and the sheets 10a-10d. Accordingly, deterioration of a tape running property caused by a slide does not occur, and a good tape running property can be maintained.
