GAS FILLING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the operability of filling gas by assembling a filling machine integral with a valve open-and-close head for automatically opening and closing a rotary valve of a casing. CONSTITUTION:A support member 3 is integrally coupled through a rod 2 above a filling machine having a filling nozzle 1 at the forward end thereof in parallel thereto. The support member is provided with an elevating mechanism 4 and a rotating mechanism 5 which are driven by air pressure. A valve open-and-close head 6 elevated, rotated and reversed by both mechanisms are installed in such a manner as to be orthogonal to the extension axis of the nozzle 1. A clamp 38 for holding a gas filling port portion of a casing is provided in such a manner as to freely open and close on the filling machine. The filling machine is further provided with a piston mechanism 9 for opening and closing the clamp which is operated by air pressure.
