Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fiber having improved tenacity and suitable for the thin cloth textile for lining, or fancy braid, etc., by dissolving cellulise diacetate in a mixture of methylene chloride and methanol, and carrying out the dry spinning of the obtained specific spinning dope. CONSTITUTION:(A) cellulose diacetate is dissolved in (B) a mixed solvent composed of (i) methylene chloride and (ii) methanol to obtain a spinning dope having a viscosity of >=2,500 poise measured by a falling ball viscometer at 25 deg.C, and the obtained dope is subjected to the dry-spinning to obtain the objective fiber. The temperature of the spinning dope is preferably 55-70 deg.C, and the dry- spinning is carried out preferably by keeping the ratio VT/VE to 0.75-0.90 wherein VT (m/min) is take-up speed of the produced yarn and VE (m/min) is the speed of the dope extruded from the spinning nozzle.
