Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To maintain the continuity of angles so as to find a mean value of the direction of a wind, by decomposing a bearing into x- and y-component and finding the mean value of each component. CONSTITUTION:A direction of wind measuring section 31 rotates depending on the direction of winds and a voltage proportional to angles is generated by means of an angle-voltage converting machine 32 composed of a potentiometer or selsyn motor, etc., and connected with the shaft of the measuring section 31. The voltage is introduced to a processor 20 for processing data of voltage produced in accordance with the direction of winds and sent to an A-D converting section 27 where the voltage is converted into digital values at every 30sec- 1min. The converted digital values are read in a CPU21. The CPU21 converts the digital voltage into angles by referring to a voltage-angle converting table on a memory 22 and temporarily stores the angles in the memory 22. Whenever the CPU21 receives a mean value calculating unit time detected output interrupt outputted from a timer 28 at every 1hr, the CPU21 finds the mean value of the direction of a wind at the unit of 1hr.
