Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a coating composition capable of bonding firmly to a melamine decorative board, etc. without pretreatment, and having excellent coating film properties such as flexibility, hardness, etc., by adding specific amounts of a butyral resin, an alkyl-etherified melamine and a specific silane compound, etc. to a specific terpolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a terpolymer composed of (i) 20-40(wt)% styrene, (ii) 15-35% (meth)acrylic acid and (iii) 35-55% alkyl (meth)acrylate, (B) 20-100pts.wt. of a butyral resin, (C) 30-70pts.wt. of an alkyl-etherified melamine, (D) 10-200pts. wt. of one or more silane compounds of Si(OR)4, R'-Si(OR)3 or formula (R is lower alkyl; R' and R'' are lower alkyl, alkenyl, glycidyloxy or phenyl), and (E) a curing catalyst.
