SCREEN RUPTURE DETECTION APPARATUS IN SCREEN PRINTING

PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the change of a screen frame at the time of the damage of a screen, by clamping a sensor after setting the same to a predetermined position and allowing a sensor locating member to return the original position after clamping. CONSTITUTION:When a locating cylinder 7 and a sensor movement operating cylinder 21 are driven so as to advance, a locating member 9 is moved to the side of a screen frame along with a sensor 4 in such a state that said locating member 9 is protruded by a predetermined amount (e) from sensor 4 and, when contacted with the screen frame 2, stopped so as to hold the predetermined amount (e) between the leading end surface 4a of the sensor 4 and the end surface 2a of the screen frame 2. A clamp cylinder 3 is operated after a timer time to clamp the piston rod of the sensor movement operating cylinder 21 while the locating cylinder 7 is driven so as to be retracted. Therefore, when the screen of the screen frame 2 is ruptured, the sensor 4 detects the change thereof to generated a damage-signal.
