COMPRESSOR EQUIPPED WITH OIL SEPARATOR

PURPOSE:To obtain the superior oil separating performance by allowing an oil separator to be equipped with an oil return passage and a separating means in separated state, thus preventing the re-mixing of the separated oil. CONSTITUTION:An oil separator 15 is threadely engaged onto the rear plate 11 of a compressor body. Said oil separator 15 consists of two separating plates 16 and 17 opposed each other in parallel. A part of each of these separating plates 16 and 17 is cut, and the tilted projecting pieces 18 and 19 which are pulled-up inwardly are formed. The part between the both separating plates 16 and 17 is used as separating means. On the separating plate 17, an oil return hole 20 which is formed by pulling-up the inclined projecting piece 19 is formed. An oil return passage 21 is constituted between the separating plate 17 and the back part 3b of a rear cover 3. The tilted projecting pieces 18 and 19 are tilted towards the rear cover 3 side. Therefore, the separated oil is returned separately from a gas flow passage equipped with a separating means, passing through the oil return hole 20.
