MULTIPLE LIGHT GENERATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reduce the disorder of wavefronts of luminous flux divided into plural pieces by changing the propagation direction of part of parallel luminous flux converted by a collimating means which is larger than the aperture of an objective lens between the collimating means and objective lens. CONSTITUTION:Light reflected by an information storage means 21 is passed through the objective lens 20 again and then distributed to a detection part 27 for the quantity of reflected laser beam light, information signal read part 28, track deviation detection part 29, and defocusing detection part 30 through a multiple laser light processing part 19. Outputs of the track deviation detection part 29 and defocusing detection part 30 are sent through a track deviation- defocusing correcting circuit 31 to a track deviation-defocusing correction driving circuit 21 which moves the objective lens 20 in two axial directions to make corrections, and defocusing and track deviation are detected by using one converged light beam spot, e.g. reading beam spot 26.
