TELEVISON RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To correct brightness changes on a display screen in both interlace systems by making a level of a video signal of an interlace system large with respect to that of a non-interlace system and correcting the brightness of a displayed screen. CONSTITUTION:A switch 70 changes over an interlace display and an interlace display, and an output Ss is supplied as a control signal to switch circuits 72 and 73, which are connected in such a way as the figure shows where Ss=1 and perform an in-interlace display. Where Ss=0, they are connected in the reverse way as the figure shows and perform an interlace display. In case of interface display, a voltage of a voltage source 64 is added to a voltage source 63 and supplied as a control voltage Ep to a picture adjusting circuit 46 through an adder 62. Thus the voltage is, for instance, doubled, compared with that of the interlace display. Moreover, in case of interlace display, deterioration in brightness on a screen will not occur.
