FRONT LOADING DISC PLAYER

PURPOSE:To obtain a front loading disc player which does not require adjustment and can simplify the circuit constitution of a control part and is provided with a stop/inverting means of stable operation. CONSTITUTION:The stop/inverting means, which inverts a driving force giving mechanism when an abnormal load stopping storage of a tray 21 is applied to this tray 21, consists of a lock means which locks the tray 21 reaching a storage position in a housing to a supporting member (transverse chassis 18) which supports this tray freely slidably, a bracket 39 which is provided freely movably in the tray moving direction with respect to said supporting member and supports freely turnably a gear 37 as a constituting member of the driving force giving mechanism, an energizing means (coil spring 50) which gives a bias force in the tray storage direction to the bracket 39, the first detecting switch 55 which is operated when the bracket is moved in the tray projecting direction, and the second detecting switch 56 which is operated when a container is moved to an operation position.
