Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To allow a car having the captioned device to powerfully travel by enabling kick-down operation to be released without completely separating an acceleration pedal. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 11 is connected with an acceleration pedal 1 in which an ordinary state signal is provided by an operation signal of a first limit switch 8, a kick-down operation signal provided by an operation signal of a second limit switch 9, and thereafter an ordinary state signal is provided upon again entering an operation signal of the second limit switch 9 before entering an operation signal of the first limit switch 8. Hereby, provided that after a kick-down operation state is once reached, the acceleration pedal 1 is again strongly stepped in and the second limit switch 9 is operated, the car can return to the ordinary state, so that the kick-down operation can be released without completely separating away the acceleration pedal 1, whereby the car can powerfully and smoothly travel even on an upward slope which varies in this slope.
