RADIATION DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To improve the shock resistance of a mixed fiber resin layer by providing an aramide fiber layer at the X-ray incidence side of the mixed fiber resin layer which form an X-ray incidence window. CONSTITUTION:The radiation detector 2 is equipped with an arcuate box body 4, which has the X-ray incidence window made of a carbon fiber resin layer 4a. If the carbon fiber resin layer 4a damages or breaks owing to the high-pressure gas, etc., in the box 4, the aramide fiber resin layer 4b functions as a protection layer. Specially, the aramide fiber resin layer 4b can be laminated on the carbon fiber resin layer 4a, but a gas layer is formed between the both to functions as a buffer layer, which is more effective in terms of safety.
