MOVING TARGET PICK-UP APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To automatically perform the detection of a target in accordance with a sea state, by dividing a pick-up region into plural sections other than plural detection reference levels. CONSTITUTION:Various kinds of signals sent out from radar 1 are applied to a digitizer circuit 2 and the obtained positional coordinates of a target are sent out to a gate check circuit 3. A gate generation circuit 4 generates a signal for dividing a pick-up region into plural sections in a distance and an azimuth in synchronous relation to this transmission pulse and sends the same to the circuit 3. This circuit 3 collates and judges the positional coordinates of the target and the pick-up region and the result thereof is sent to a memory device 6 as target data. On the other hand, a wave meter 5 sends wave data observed at every definite time interval to the memory device 6 which, in turn, sets a detection reference level at every region from the data from the wave meter 5 and judges whether target data sent out from the circuit 3 is equal to or more than the detection level at each region while the positional coordinates data is displayed by a display apparatus 7 and the detection of the target corresponding to a sea state can be automatically performed.
