MULTIPURPOSE ENGINE

PURPOSE:To effectively utilize exhaust heat of an engine, by providing the internal-combustion engine itself to be directly or indirectly immersed in a tank storing cooling water and absorbing heat, generated by driving the internal-combustion engine, into the water while supplying the heated water to a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:An engine casing 2 contains in its inside an internal-combustion engine 8 to be fixed, and its driving shaft 9, exhaust pipe 10, intake pipe 11, fuel supply pipe 12 and controller 13 are water-tightly drawn out to the outside of the casing. When the engine is a water-cooled internal-combustion engine, a circulating water pipe of its water jacket is opened to the outside of the casing. Heat radiating fins 10a, 2a are provided on external surfaces of the exhaust pipe 10 and the casing 2. The internal-combustion engine transmits by its operation a large amount of heat from the heat radiating fins 10 or the like to cooling water 3. The cooling water 3, being heated and fed to a heat exchanger 6 by rotating a pump 7 to be driven, is used for room heating in a room or a vinyl housing and the like by radiating heat.
