Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain an anticorrosive for copper having an extremely significant corrosion preventing effect on copper in any of water systems by using tolyltriazole and benzoisothiazolone having optionally lower alkyl as a substitunt. CONSTITUTION:Tolyltriazole is blended with benzoisothiazolone having optionally lower alkyl as a substituent represented by the formula (where R is H or 1- 5C alkyl) in 1:4-4:1, especially 1:1 weight ratio to obtain an anticorrosive for copper. The concn. of the anticorrosive used is determined according to the purpose, yet the anticorrosive is generally contained as an effective component by >=about 1ppm, preferably >=3ppm. The pH of a water system to which the anticorrosive is added is not especially restricted, and the anticorrosive shows its effect in any of neutral, acidic and alkaline ranges. Though the anticorrosive alone shows a significant effect, it may be combined with other anticorrosive such as mercapto-benzothiazole or other triazole.
