Zusammenfassung:1. Fuel injection pump for internal-combustion engines, with a pump casing (10) and a feed-rate adjusting device (11) actuated by an electrically controlled actuator (13) and having a sectional control rod (12) which is mounted in the pump casing (10) and is equipped with a profile differing from a cylindrical cross-section and which is led out of the pump casing (10) at its end (12a) located on the same side as the actuator, and with a cylindrical plain-bearing sleeve (16) which is fastened in the pump casing (10) at the pump-casing exit for the control rod (12) and is designed as the bottom part of a closing cap (51), and in the through-orifice (31) of which a cylindrical guide portion (50) of a supporting bolt (32) fastened to the end (12a) of the control rod (12) located on the same side as the actuator is arranged, so as to be displaceable with the least possible radial play, the said guide portion (50) guiding the control rod (12) as a guide part (17) for the latter so as to seal it off from the actuator (13), characterized by the following features : a) the sectional control rod (12) is produced from an anglesection bar having two legs (18, 19), and fastened to its end (12a) located on the same side as the actuator is a fastening tenon (54), partially surrounded by the two legs (18, 19), of the supporting bolt (32), of which the guide portion (50), as the sole guide part (17) located on the same side as the actuator, guides the control rod (12) in the plain-bearing sleeve (16) so as to seal it off against escaping leakage oil, b) a radially projecting annular collar (52) located between the fastening tenon (54) and the guide portion (50) of the supporting bolt (32) rests, by means of one of its shoulders (52a), against the end face of the end (12a) of the control rod (12) located on the same side as the actuator and forms, by means of its other shoulder (52b), a bearing surface for an axially acting annular seal (53) provided in the closing cap (51), and c) the annular seal (53) is fastened within the closing cap (51) at the transition to the plain-bearing sleeve (16) and, in one end position (stopping position) of the control rod (12) shifted towards the actuator (13), additionally seals off from the actuator (13) an inner space (10a) of the pump casing (10) receiving at least the control rod (12).
