Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:A monoclonal antibody having properties wherein it is reacted with a fraction containing D fraction and/or DD fraction but not with fibrinogen in a plasmin decomposition product of human fibrinogen or fibrin, having antigenic determinants recognizing each other. USE:For measuring a fibrinogen fibrin decomposition product (FDP for short). Capable of measuring FDP independently of an amount of fibrinogen. PREPARATION:First, a mouse is immunized against a D fraction or DD fraction of FDP obtained from human fibrinogen, an immunized antibody-forming cell of splenic cell of mouse is fused with a myeloma cell of mouse, to give a hybridoma of a monoclonal antibody-forming cell having specificity to FDP having D fraction and/or DD fraction. It is then cultivated in medium, to give a monoclonal antibody.
