Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the system efficiency of a hot water supplying device utilizing solar heat by reducing the power consumption of a crankcase heater by a structure wherein a compressor equipped with the crankcase heater is installed above a heat accumulator. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 4 and a condenser 5a are installed above a heat accumulator 9. In addition, the energizing of a crankcase heater 10 mounted on the compressor 4 is controlled by a hot water temperature sensor 11 in a hot water storage tank of the temperature sensor of the atmosphere of the compressor 4. Due to the above-mentioned control, only when the hot water temperature in the hot water storage tank or the temperature of the atmosphere of the compressor is below the set temperature, the crankcase heater 10 is energized, resulting in preventing the oil in the crankcase of the compressor from foaming at the start of the compressor. Consequently, the power consumption in the crankcase heater is remarkably reduced as compared with the power consumption in a crankcase heater, which is energized at all times.
