HEAT PUMP TYPE BATH HEATER

PURPOSE:To provide a bath heater high in safety, not reguiring any ventilation and high in energy efficiency, by using a heat pump type refrigerating cycle as a means for heating water contained in a bathtub. CONSTITUTION:In a refrigerating cycle constituted of a compressor 1, a condenser 2, a pressure-reducing mechanism 4 and an evaporator 5 for absorbing heat from the outside air, the condenser 2 is provided in contact with water contained in the bathtub 3. Accordingly, water in the bathtub 3 can be heated with high energy efficiency by absorbing heat from low-temperature outside air by the heat pump type refrigerating cycle while consuming electric power only for operating the compressor 1, and when the compressor 1 is intermittently operated by detecting water temperature by a temperature regulator or the like, the temperature regulator or the like, the temperature of water contained in the bathtub 3 can be maintained to be constant, so that a bath heater not requiring any ventilation and high in safety can be obtained.
