Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To secure the sufficient width of a hull without reducing each tilt of bow and a bottom lower-part outer-plate by setting the tilt angle of bow at 57 deg. or more and setting the tilt angle of the bottom lower-part outer-plate at 35 deg. or more and forming a knuckle onto the lower-part outer-plate part at a car deck level and connecting said knuckle to the hull upper-part outer-plate. CONSTITUTION:The tilt angle theta of bow is set at 57 deg., ore more, and the upper edge of a lower-part outer-plate part 31 which constitutes a bottom outer plate 3 is positioned below a car deck level 2, and the tilt angle alpha is set at 35 deg. or more. A circular part (a) is formed at the upper-edge side part of the lower-part outer- plate part 31 and a knuckle part K is formed at the lower part of the upper-part outer-plate part 32 which consttutes the bottom outer plate 3 and connected to the upper edge of the lower-part outer-plate part 31. the tilt theta of bow and the tilt alpha of the outer-plate in the bow part are reduced, and the breakage of the hull outer-plate due to the lapping of waves is prevented, and a sufficient width of the hull for securing the bow ramp for cars can be obtained.
