Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To rationalize a remote maintenance job by calling a maintenance operator registered previously via a maintenance responsible station when an unmanned exchange station at a remote place has a fault and informing the generation of the fault in voices or signal tones for quick information of the fault. CONSTITUTION:The number of a maintenance operator registered previously is read out and dialed by the control of a central processor CC4 of an unmanned exchange station which is a maintenance object. Based on this number, the corresponding maintenance operator is called out at the incoming side. The fault information is connected to a talkie trunk 9 and set under an announcement state in response to an answer of the operator. Access is given to a memory 6 from the CC4, and the fault number is decided by a built-in program. Then a message is edited with sound synthesization and transmitted to the trunk 9. The trunk 9 transmits the fault information via a switch 7. Thus it is possible to transmit the fault information through an ordinary telephone set just with addition of a simple circuit. This can rationalize the remote maintenance job.
