Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To simply obtain magnetic metal powder having excellent oxidation stability by a method wherein a phosphorus compound in a gaseous state and water are alternately brought to come in contact with the alloy magnetic powder having iron as its main ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The easily-hydrolized phosphorus compound having an alkyl radical or a halogen atom such as trimethyl phosphate, PCl5 and the like is properly gasified in accordance with steam pressure in Ar, for example, and it is sent as a carrier to the magnetic powder which is formed by adding Ni, Co, Cr, Mn, Cu, Zn and the like to the main ingredient of iron. Water is also used vaporing it in Ar. After the magnetic powder has been reduced to its components by heating, water is brought to come in contact with it at 100-350 deg.C succeeding to phosphorus compound, and the above-mentioned procedure is repeated until the coating of phosphorus compound reaches 1-10wt% in H3PO4 conversion. According to this constitution, the deterioration of magnetic characteristics can be suppressed, and the magnetic metal powder having excellent oxidation stability can also be obtained. |
