DISPLACEMENT EXPANDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To constitute a device, which measures the displacement in the vertical direction at a low cost, by turning a pendulum, to which a pointer member is coupled, and converting the displacement in the vertical direction into the rotary angle of the pendulum. CONSTITUTION:A supporting shaft 24 of a pendulum 20, to which a pointer 22 of a parallelism adjusting jig is coupled, is coupled into a height adjusting boss 28. The boss 28 is coupled to an adjusting supporting shaft 32, which is coupled to a cartridge case 34, by a coupling shaft 30. An adjusting screw 38 is contacted with the boss 28, and a fixing screw 40 is contacted with a screw shaft 30. The jig itself is adjusted in the direction of the height by the screw 38 and fixed by the screw 40. The pendulum 20 is turned by the up and down movement of a surface to be measured, which is contacted with the tip of the pendulum 20. Owing to said turning of the pendulum, the pointer 22 is swung. The amount of the displacement of the pointer is converted into a numerical value by a scale plate 36.
