DOCUMENTATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To execute document formation and editing operation easily and quickly by referring to a layout display which is displayed on the second display means, and displaying desired lines where the user is going to form and edit on the first display means. CONSTITUTION:When a transparent coordinate input tablet panel 14 is depressed by a pen 13, in a document formation controller 17, if input information is document information, it is transmitted to a document information storing means 7 to be stored, and if it is editing information, it becomes the editing condition according to the editing information. If the input information is layout display information, document information of the document information storing means 7 is displayed on a layout display liquid crystal display plate 15 of the second display means. When the user depresses the transparent coordinate input tablet panel 14 with the pen 13 so as to obtain the desired line position, the input information is converted to direct line designating information in the document formation controller 7, and the information is displayed on a document display liquid crystal display plate 16 of the first display means 2 by a direct line designating means 6.
