STEERING LOCK DEVICE

PURPOSE:To facilitate locking operation so easily, by making a rotator turning motor lockable by means of a lock signal out of a button switch attached to the outside of a door, etc., in case of a device which makes an ignition lock releasable or lockable without a key. CONSTITUTION:The titled device rotates and controls a pulse motor 12 via a control unit 29 on the basis of signals to be inputted according to operation on plural pushbutton switches in an input device 20, and shifts a locking rod of a steering lock to a releasing or locking position by the said motor 12. And, simultaneously it turns an ignition switch 14 round to a lock position, an ACC position and an on-position or a start position. In this case, when a lock signal out of a button switch (unillustrated herein) installed in a door and the like is inputted, as well as when an automobile is judged being stopped from each output of an engine sensor 21 and a speed sensor 23, it rotates the pulse motor 12 in the reverse direction, whereby constituting it so as to make the steering lock come into a state of being lockable.
