CENTRIFUGAL DUST COLLECTOR

PURPOSE:To enhance dust collection efficiency by preventing pressure loss, by respectively providing a gas revolution preventing plate for preventing the revolving motion of gas and a gas inflow preventing plate for preventing gas from flowing in a dust box. CONSTITUTION:Dust-containing gas is flowed into an outer cylinder 3 from a gas inflow port 1 toward a tangential direction and moved to a lower end part while revolving. Dust falling along the inner wall of the outer cylinder 3 and dust fallen on the umbrella shaped oblique surface formed by the upper edge 13 and the lower edge 14 of a gas inflow preventing plate 10 are together fallen through the space between the lower edge 14 of the gas inflow preventing plate 10 and the circular opening edge 16 of the upper surface part of an outer case 11 and accumulated in a dust box 7. On the other hand, purified gas, from which dust was separated, receives the revolution stopping action by the part A of a gas revolution preventing plate 9 and advances into an inner cylinder 4 while is prevented from flowing into the outer case 11 by the gas inflow preventing plate 10 and is distributed by the part B of the gas revolution preventing plate 9 to be exhausted from an outflow port 2.
