EXAMPLE:6-Methyl-4-phenyl-2-piperazinyl-[2,3-d]thienopyrimidine. USE:Psychopharmaceuticals. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced, e.g. by dissolving the 2-halo-6-substituted-4-phenyl-[2,3-d]thienopyrimidine of formula III (Y is halogen) in a solvent such as chloroform, and reacting with the piperazine compound of formula IV.
