STORING ROOM

PURPOSE:To improve the storing efficiency by providing a multiplicity of storing units having equal sizes on the same plane within a housing such that they are arranged in arrays while leaving a space corresponding to at least one of such units, and such that the units are movable. CONSTITUTION:On the floor within the housing of a storing room, e.g. a refrigerator, a multiplicity of storing units 1 having equal sizes are arranged in arrays while leaving a space corresponding to at least one of such units. Two means 5 for moving the units are provided on the opposite side of the floor from the side on which the units are arranged. The moving means 5 slides a feeder 11 horizontally along guides 12 so as to move the units horizontally, and also slides the feeder 11 vertically along guides 13 so as to regulate the units to the level of the floor. By sliding the units in this way and utilizing the space 2, the units are appropriately moved such that a desired unit 1 can be taken out.
