Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:A transparent styrenic copolymer having improved heat resistance, comprising specific amounts of a specific styrenic monomer, methyl methacrylate, maleic anhydride, and a monomer copolymerizable with the above-mentioned monomer. CONSTITUTION:(A) 20-94pts.wt., preferably 20-70pts.wt. styrenic monomer (preferably styrene, etc.) having a ratio of weight-average molecular weight Mw to number-average molecular weight Mn of 3.0>Mw/Mn>1.8 is polymerized with (B) 5-60pts.wt., preferably 10-40pts.wt. methyl methacrylate, (C) 1-30pts. wt., preferably 1-15pts.wt. maleic anhydride, and (D) 0-30pts.wt. monomer copolymerizable with the above-mentioned monomer, to give the desired copolymer. EFFECT:Simple handling of recovered monomer.
