Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make it possible to directly display a detected azimuth angle as a numerical value, by converting the phases of signals each having a phase corresponding to the azimuth of an arrival radio wave to numerical values and averaging said numerical values. CONSTITUTION:A generator 12 performs the change-over of antennae 1N, 1S, 1E, 1W, the control of change-over circuits 17, 18 and the fabrication of a reference signal on the basis of the clock from an oscillator 22. FF23 is set at the rising of this reference signal and the clocks passing a gate are counted by a counter 24 and FF23 is reset at the rising in the output of a wave form shaping circuit 21. Therefore, clocks during a period from the rising of the reference signal to the rising of a rectangular wave signal having a phase corresponding to the arrival direction of a received radio wave are counted and this count value is taken in CPU25 which, in turn, successively performs the program in ROM26 to perform display. In this case, azimuth data obtained in the counter 24 are taken in predetermined times and averaged while the averaged value is displayed as an angle by a numerical value display device 27.
