Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To generate the NC data directly from the three-dimension coordinate data obtained by profile measurement by adding a data processing unit generating the NC data based on the three-dimension coordinate data of a model work determined by a measurement mechanism. CONSTITUTION:After a measuring piece 8 of a predetermined shape suitable for the machining condition is fitted to a spindle 7, it is moved in three dimension directions, and when it is brought into contact with the surface of a work, the data Dx-Dz in each axis at the time of the contact of the measuring piece 8 are detected by individual encoders 11-13 and are fed to a data processing unit 14. After the data Dx-Dz fed from individual encoders 11-13 are calculated by the data processing unit 14 based on the function word data preset by a setting unit 15, they are outputted as the NC data or three-dimension coordinate data. They are then punched on a tape with a tape perforator 16 and are outputted as an NC command tape 17. Accordingly, when the tape 17 is used with a general-purpose NC unit, products of the same shape as that of a model measured by a measurement mechanism 1 can be machined.
