MACHINE TOOL ASSOCIATED WITH TOOL REPLACING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To simplify a tool replacing arm thus to realize energy saving by replacing a heavy weight tool through motion of spindle head at the machine tool side while through up/down motion and turning of tool receiving table at the magazine side thereby distributing the replacing function. CONSTITUTION:Upon completion of carrying work of a work, the axis of spindle 16 is positioned at the tool replacing position 91 of machine tool to move the spindle head 12 in separating direction thus to draw out the used side cup 20 which is swinged to the tool replacing position 91 through turning of arms 95, 97. Here, the side cutter 20 is fitted in the projected portion of arm to advance the stopper and rod thus to stop the side cutter 20 by means of the stopper. Thereafter, the arms 95, 97 are swinged to the tool replacing position 89 at the tool magazine side to lift the tool receiving table 69 as it is then inverted to position the yet-used side cutter 20 to the tool replacing position 89. Thereafter, said table 69 is lowered to seat the cutter 20 on the projected section to stop the cutter 20 by means of the stopper. Then it is inserted over the spindle 16 to complete mounting resulting in distribution of replacing function.
