UNITARY TYPE AIR CONDITIONER FOR INSTALLATION ON WINDOW

PURPOSE:To implement a compact and light-weight configuration, by dividing an outer case, in which a single cross flow fan is provided, into two compartments by a separating plate, and forming an indoor ventilating part and an outdoor ventilating part. CONSTITUTION:An outer case 20 is divided into a first compartment 20a and a second compartment 20b at one position in the axial direction of a cross flow fan by a separating plate 24. In an indoor ventilating part 28 in the first compartment 20a of the outer case 20, an evaporator 29 and a stabilizer 30 are arranged. Air enters through a sucking grille 25 from the inside of the room by the one-way rotation of the cross flow fan 22 and is cooled by the evaporator 29. Thereafter, the air is returned into the room through a diffusing grille 26. Meanwhile, a stabilizer 35 is arranged in an outdoor ventilating part 34 in the second compartment 20b of the outer case 20. Air enters through a condenser 31 from the outside of the room by the one-way rotation of the cross flow fan 22. Heat exchange is performed in the condenser, and then the air is returned to the outside of the room again through a diffusing grille 32.
