TAPE COUNTER CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To enable coincidence of tape position and number of counts by inputting record counter value to a resetting circuit or rewinding to detection of a leader tape when inputting a detection signal, and recording serial data in a tape when recording sound, etc. CONSTITUTION:When count value is detected in a reproduced signal from a head 10, a counter 6 outputs a detection signal to a controller 2 and stops running of the tape. When rewound to starting end of the tape without detecting count value, a signal is outputted from a leader tape detecting circuit 9 and the counter is made zero. When recording picture, sound, etc., output signals from a mechanism controlling circuit are inputted to a controller 2, and a switch 3 is changed to a serial conversion circuit 7 side for a fixed time, and indicated value of the counter 6 is converted to serial data and recorded. As the starting end of the tape is made zero when loading a new tape, access of the tape can be made at a fixed value at all times.
