Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To use a vehicle seat for a child without the normal function of the seat being detracted, by using a head rest as a seat cushion for a child. CONSTITUTION:The seat back 12 of a seat is supported slidably back and forth by means of a movable support mechanism 14, and are secured at two positions by means a lock mechanism consiting of a knob 38, fixing holes 30, 32, etc. The rear part of the seat back 12 is formed therein with a recessed part 42 so that side support parts 44a, 44b are formed. A head rest 12 which may be also used as a seat for a child, has side support parts 52a, 52b and a leg part 52c and may be secured to the top of the seat back 12 and as well onto a seat cushion 10.
